WHAT WE INSTALL

What structured cabling covers

Horizontal cabling, backbone and fiber, racks and patch panels, pre-wire and rough-in, retrofit and adds, and certification testing.

01

HORIZONTAL CABLING

Horizontal cabling.

01

HORIZONTAL CABLING

Horizontal cabling.

Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7. Every drop terminated, tested, labeled. From the rack to the device, certified to spec.

  • Cat6 / Cat6A / Cat7
  • Terminated & tested every drop
  • Certified to TIA/EIA spec
02

BACKBONE & FIBER

Backbone and fiber.

02

BACKBONE & FIBER

Backbone and fiber.

Multi-mode and single-mode fiber. Inter-building, inter-floor, MDF-to-IDF. Where copper can’t go.

03

RACKS & PATCH PANELS

Racks, patch panels, IDF/MDF.

03

RACKS & PATCH PANELS

Racks, patch panels, IDF/MDF.

Properly designed and built racks. Cable management that doesn’t fall apart in two years. Labeled patch panels. Documentation that survives staff turnover.

04

PRE-WIRE & ROUGH-IN

Pre-wire and rough-in.

04

PRE-WIRE & ROUGH-IN

Pre-wire and rough-in.

New construction coordination with the GC, electrician, and architect. Cabling pulled during framing, before the drywall closes the walls.

05

RETROFIT & ADDS

Retrofit and adds.

05

RETROFIT & ADDS

Retrofit and adds.

Existing buildings, finished offices, occupied spaces. Cleanly run, hidden where possible, minimally disruptive.

06

CERTIFICATION TESTING

Certification testing.

06

CERTIFICATION TESTING

Certification testing.

Fluke-certified test results for every drop. Documentation that goes on the as-built. Compliance with TIA/EIA standards.

WHY TITAN

Why TITAN does structured cabling differently

Cabling is what every other TITAN system rides on. We don't subcontract the foundation to someone we don't know.

icon-document

TEST & DOCUMENT

We test and document every drop.

Fluke certification on every termination. Documentation goes on the as-built. The IT lead who comes after us has the data they need.

icon-label

LABEL EVERYTHING

We label everything.

Every cable, every termination, every rack position. Five years later, when something needs service, someone can find what they need without a flashlight.

TRADE COORDINATION

We coordinate with the other trades.

GC, electrician, HVAC, sprinkler. The cabling install fits into the project schedule. Nobody chases anybody.

OUR PROCESS

How a cabling project actually starts.

Four phases. Every one of them documented and signed before we move on. No surprises mid-installation.

Tell us

A 15-minute call or quick form. New construction, tenant fit-out, renovation, or multi-site rollout.

Walk the Build

On site, free. We walk the building, review floor plans, and coordinate with your GC and architect.

Quote

Drop count, cable type, rack design, labor, timeline, and testing. Trade coordination scoped in. No anchor numbers.

Install & Test

Cabling pulled on the construction schedule. Every drop terminated and tested. Documentation handed off. Performance Protection Plan activates day one.

01

How much does structured cabling cost?

It depends on drop count, cable type, and building complexity. A typical tenant fit-out with 100 Cat6 drops, a rack, and certified testing lands in the high four to low five figures per floor. Fiber backbone and large multi-floor buildings scale accordingly.
02

Cat6 vs. Cat6A vs. fiber — which do we need?

Cat6 is fine for most office applications up to 1 Gbps over standard distances. Cat6A is the standard for new construction now — it supports 10 Gbps and future-proofs the building. Fiber where copper can’t reach (between buildings, between floors at distance).
03

Do you coordinate with our GC and electrician?

Yes. New construction cabling is a coordination job. We schedule the pull during framing, coordinate with the electrician for power, and stay out of the GC’s critical path.
04

Can you cable an occupied building?

Yes. Retrofit and after-hours installs are most of what we do outside new construction. We work around your operating schedule.
05

Do you certify the cabling?

Yes. Every drop gets Fluke-certified test results. Documentation goes on the as-built. The certification meets TIA/EIA standards.
06

Do you handle racks and IDF/MDF buildouts?

Yes. Rack design, cable management, patch panel layout, labeling, and documentation. Server rooms and telecom closets.
07

Do you handle audio-visual / low-voltage cabling beyond network?

Yes. Speaker cable, HDMI extenders, control cable, security cabling, intercom. Everything low-voltage that the building needs.
08

What areas do we serve?

Loudoun, Northern Virginia, and the DC Metro.
